"WEST LOOKING EAST" AT FABRICA FEATURES PARIS
A series of visual expressions by Fabrica inspired by the uprising energy, culture and economy of far eastern countries.
When: 15 December, 2006 Where: Paris - France What: Exhibition
The far eastern cultures and economies – from the booming of Chinese production and consumption to the rapid growth of Korean technology - are in a moment of global expansion never witnessed before. Their development is not just a matter of the evolution of systems of production and the global market. Nor is it simply a question of the remarkable creative drive this evolution has brought about. It stands as a cultural and social turning point. In the near future this trend will accelerate to a point that we cannot foresee and it will definitely influence all sectors of societies worldwide.
As creative people we can “imagine” this future as we would want to see it and, more often, as we fear to see it, sharing with the audience our sensibilities and impressions on such important social changes while they’re in the happening and sometimes anticipating the reality to come.
