Edited by Fabrica and published by Mondadori, "Rocinha. Racconti di favela" is a book and documentary about life in Rocinha, the world’s biggest slum, on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro.

A huge slum populated by hundreds of thousands of people who try to live normal lives even though they are in a desperate situation. It’s a community with its own rules and hierarchies. A real city within a city, both real and surreal at the same time, as seen in the documentary which was directed by Carlos Casas with the collaboration of Batman Zavarese, from Fabrica’s video department.
