Angela Vettese has been art critic for the Italian daily “Sole 24 Ore” since 1986. She runs the specialist degree course in Visual Arts at the IUAV in Venice, and teaches history of contemporary art at the Bocconi University in Milan. She is the Chairperson of the Bevilacqua La Masa Foundation of Venice. Her published works include: “Invertir en arte”, Universidad de Valencia, Piramide, Valencia 2002; “Artisti si diventa”, Carocci, Rome 2002; “A cosa serve l'arte contemporanea”, Allemandi, Turin 2001; “Arti Visive, Il Novecento” (with Gillo Dorfles) Atlas, Bergamo 2001. She has curated many exhibitions, including Dan Flavin, in collaboration with the Guggenheim Museum of New York, Villa Panza, Varese 2004; Vivere Venezia/Recycling the Future, Venice Biennial 2003. Angela Vettese has written essays for the Magasin in Grenoble, MOCA in Los Angeles, the Serpentine Gallery in London and other international museums.
