ENSEIGNER / PRODUIRE : UNE EXPOSITION-ENQUÊTE - Le numérique dans l’art
This exhibition, organised by le Centre Pompidou and le Fresnoy is an investigation on the reserved moments of artistic practices : transmission, education and apprenticeship, work and experimentation. 9 institutions – Schools and Academies of Art, Art and Research Centres, Universities – characterised by their interest in the field of digital technologies, has been “explored” to deliver a large panorama on programs and educational patterns made for training young artists. Artists and teachers coming from others backgrounds have also been invited to complete these series of accounts.
This exhibition-investigation challenges to bring to light process which are typically out of sight and proposes several documentary films. It offers the opportunity to transmit various experiences and to open a free place for discussion thought the words of witnesses and actors of the artistic education and research stage.
Fabrica, invited with other 8 schools from around the world, will be showing at Le Fresnoy 3 projects from different departments during the exhibition:
Zachary Swenson – LURIDI
Francois Prost and Andreas Skillhagen – HANDSOME JACK
Jonathan Harris – 10x10
The exhibition will be completed by an international symposium on the theme : “MYTHOLOGIES AND PEDAGOGIES OF DIGITAL TECHNOLOGIES”, during which there will be the participation of Renzo di Renzo among the others.
