Silvia Marini Fabricante From: Italy |
After a degree in literature and foreign languages (in the field of Management and Tourism) she decided to attend a post graduate course in Art & Culture Management at MART (Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art in Rovereto/ Italy). Later she worked for the Festival and Prix Ars Electronica in Linz, where she discovered a strong passion for international events specifically related to new media and contemporary art . She is particularly interested in the organisation of cultural and artistic events, which thanks to their inherent interdisciplinary approach, are able to embrace the transversality of art. She believes that creativity plays a relevant role affecting society and economics and suggests anyone to read 'The Rise of Creative Class' by Richard Florida. She is convinced that success is strictly related to creative people and their dynamic and emergent patterns of relationships. Now she works at FABRICA where she pursues artistic research, exploring interactive art and relational aesthetics. |
