Grew up in Zurich where he studied precise Swiss typography and photo retouching. He founded his own multimedia design company and also worked for various swiss advertising agencies along with teaching classes in screen design and film editing. Then Christian worked as counselor - for kids at the skatepark in Lausanne where he learnt French, and for sexually exploited children in Colombia where he learnt Spanish. After returning from Colombia he worked as a multimedia producer in Bern, before settling in Milan to work as an art director for Saatchi & Saatchi and learn Italian.
