Character Marks is a project which explores the idea of acquired character through applying adhesive strips to the face and/or body that depict those marks, spots, scars and wrinkles which in some way help to define our individual character. For example, lines around the eyes might indicate a lifetime of happiness, a scar reminds of a terrible accident, moles develop from spending a lot of time in the sun. In an age where poeple strive to wipe clean these tell-tale imperfections, Character Marks says wear them with pride.
