The Art of Climate Change
The Art of Climate Change
Cape Farewell Project leads expeditions with artists, scientists, and journalists, in hopes of creating more environmental awareness and engage the public and schools in the debate about climate change.
The artistic programme are a core part of the project: its initiator David Buckland believes that one salient image, sculpture or event can speak louder than volumes of scientific data and engage the public's imagination in an immediate way.
Next exhibition, The Ice Garden, will take place 15-19 December 2005, in the Clarendon Quad of the Bodleian Library, University of Oxford.
