VDAY

VDAY

So today is valentines day, but for those of you who don't know February 14th is also VDay, something that is far worthier of celebrating. VDay was the realization of Eve Ensler the brainchild behind the Vagina Monologues. VDay was set up as a non profit movement dedicated to ending violence against women and girls. Since it began it has raised over 3 billion dollars for organizations fighting for women's rights. You can check out more about VDay and the global events that will be happening right here. If you understand Italian the Vagina Monologues will be performed in Udine, i've not seen it myself but I am desperate to, apparently its brilliant.
