Let's welcome the newest member of the design department:
How did you come to learn about Fabrica?
When I was beginning my product design course, I met Pedro e Rita, two Portuguese designers who stayed here in Fabrica for two years. They did lots of interesting projects , the kind of experimental projects hard to find in some other design studio. Since then I had the wish to apply to Fabrica after my graduation.
What were you doing before coming here?
Last year I was working on my website and producing and retailing "A Second Chance" collection made of home accessories and jewelery pieces with the underlying concept of giving a second chance to apparently common and industrially produced objects.
What are you looking forward to the most?
I'm here basically to learn. Since I've been working on my own, I want and need to have the experience of being in a group, working with other young amazing designers with common goals and interests.
What will you miss the most?
In fact, Italy is not so different from Portugal and the Italian language is by far, the most beautiful language in the world. I don't miss Portugal but I miss all my family and friends in Portugal…it's just a matter of convincing them to come here for a visit.
What do you think about Treviso?
Calm, relaxed, good food, nice people, beautiful nature around.
Anything else to say?
If you have further questions, talk to me…then I'll have the chance to learn a few more English words.
Check out her site here, and welcome!
