Jen Osborne, from Vancouver, has joined the very active photography department a couple of days ago. Please welcome her by saying a gently hi.
How did you come to learn about Fabrica?
I apprenticed with documentary photographer Roger Lemoyne
and he encouraged me to send my portfolio to Enrico.
What have you been doing before?
I tried living in a bunch of cities, but none of them really worked out.
Havana, Montreal, Vancouver, L.A. and Toronto. Freelance retouching, shooting and assisting mixed in with some mental health work gave me money.
What do you expect to get out of this experience?
Access to countries that are a lot more expensive to reach from Canada.
What will you miss from home?
All the things I've left behind, particularly living in Vancouver's China Town.
