Sometimes I wonder why I love cats more than people (I mean, animated cats as a metaphor for real human emotion and interaction). Luckily, I'm not the only one. David O'Reilly, a former fabricante, released his latest animation series, 'Please Say Something' at the Ars Electronica animation screening. These short animations are about the relationship between a cat and a mouse and transforms ordinary, banal interactions into exceedingly cute fragments of life. The combination of glitch aesthetics and dark humor immediately has a hold on me. You can view the series here.
