Juliana is leaving the building!

Juliana is leaving the building!

And we're back in season with people slowly leaving Fabrica once again...

Juliana Loh our writer hailed all the way from Singapore, is leaving us this week as she concludes her one year anniversary and ending her contract.

Juliana Loh, Creative Writing Department, September 2005 - September 2006

What did you do before coming to Fabrica?
Special projects writer for a local fashion magazine

What's the plan now?
Back to Singapore. Or maybe to Shanghai. World of possibilities really, haven't got anything to lose.

Your most priceless accomplishment from the experience here:
Learning how to ride a bicycle and biking daily to and from Fabrica.

Your favorite part about living in Treviso:
Watching ducklings hatch in spring and grow over the months. As well as the good food, cheap wine and gelato!

Your least favorite part about living in Treviso:
I actually really like it despite all the little inconveniences.

Any last words for the Fabricanti?
I'll miss you lot! Thank you for being part of my Fabrica experience.

All the best and buon viaggio Jules!

Juliana left us her writings as a departing gift, you can download them here (right click + save as for the pdf): Courtesan, Broken, Sheets, and To the point

So long Juliana, we will take good care of your first bike.

Yes please do and don't forget to tell me who gets it after tamara.

we can do our little version of 'the Stradivari red violin'.

You have been the most wonderful flatmate / wife that I could have asked for! I will miss you so much when you're gone. I have grown so used to coming home to wonderful dinners and long girly chats over thousands of cups of jasmin tea.

You are the first and only person who has got me to eat tuna fish, and I have to say that I have throughly enjoyed every bite of those dishes. I never thought i'd ever eat those foods, but you've conquered my fears forever. Thank you.

Together we tackled our fears head on, yours being the bike and mine being fish! We're possibly the most dramatic of flatmates but I think we were a match made in heaven.

I really will miss you, good luck with everything you do after fabrica, you're going to be a star.

Take great care my lovely Jules

Goodbye Jules, and good luck for the future! It's been a pleasure to see you around here, really.

NO! Don't go. I will be ichatless without you. And who will I be able to intrude myself upon at supper time?

Lots of love Jules. You're a good Kabukiface.
