Wasif Munem has entered the building
Wasif Munem recently won the F Award (under 25), and has now joined the photography department. He leaves us physically in a few weeks to continue his beautiful stories in his native Dhaka, but will stay with us in spirit. Say hello to him as he gently looks into your eyes and reads your soul.

How did you come to learn about Fabrica?
Basically I had no idea what fabrica was, but I knew about the F Award thing before. I think on the 7th May I got an email from a man called Mauro Bedoni and the email offered me a scholarship. After that we talked and talked and now I am here...
What were you been doing before coming to Fabrica?
I have been working as a professional photographer for the last 5 years. I am represented by Agence VU (www.agencevu.com) in Paris. I am a Documentary photographer. I work on long-term stories. I only work in black and white and in my country.
What do you expect to get out of this experience?
I want to learn as many things as I can. Basically I want to produce stories that I really believe in, and I hope Fabrica will support me and we will work together.
What will you miss from home?
Love and care from my family and friends.
Anything else you'd like to share with us?
No, I think it's a great place, just a bit dry...
Check out his amazing work here
